We will inspect your home for shingles that show weathering, curling or excessive loss of granules, deteriorated decking, defective flashings, attic and ceiling staining caused by a leaking roof or poor ventilation, drooping utility lines or over hanging trees causing wear to the roof. When you submit your request and we have processed your deposit (to secure materials delivery), our installation coordinator will contact you and help with your scheduled installation date. When we arrive, we will prepare the job-site by protecting all shrubbery, plants and flowers near your home, and move any patio furniture or decorative objects you may have around your home.

           The best way to determine the actual condition of your roof is to tear off the old shingles and underlayment and inspect the wood decking. Chances are that long term shingle decline may have lead to deteriorated, rotted or delaminated roof decking, or even wet attic insulation. These may need to be replaced. We may find hidden electrical conduit, nails popping or bowed plywood decking which may not be seen until the existing roof system is removed. We will bring these items to your attention if you are home, and photograph them if you aren’t.
